Slider Area
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Do I have to add to the slider area on every single page? I tried to go to the page types and add there as a default but it doesn't allow me to edit the slider columns from there.
Is there one place that I can update login the slider to make it update the whole site?

I just tested it out - you can edit the slider area via Page Types. So I'm not sure what to tell you... What version of C5 are you using and what version of Innovation are you using?
I am using 5.5.2 and version 2.1 of the theme. I tried editing in different browsers to see if that was it but no.
When I open the slider in edit mode the three sections just aren't there?? Any help would be appreciated.
This just reaffirms, to ere is human, to really mess up you need a computer!

Okay just to confirm that you are
1. logged in as an administrator.
2. Going to Dashboard>Pages and Themes> Page Types
3. Clicking the 'Defaults' button of the page type you want to edit.
4. When the default page opens you are then clicking edit (make sure the page is not 'stuck' in edit mode. If the edit button is a light shade of green that means it's already in edit mode).
5. After the page re-loads in edit mode you are clicking the 'Open Panel' link.
I've tested this twice now. The theme works fine in the latest version of C5.
Is it just the slider area that you are unable to edit?
Maybe try temporarily activating a different theme and see if you can edit it's default pages.
Also - are you running any add-ons with Javascript that might be interfering with the process?

So I figured it out. You have to be the super user in order to edit the slider area from page types. Just administrator privileges will give you the results that I was getting, blocking all the areas in the slider from being edited. But it was strange because I could still edit the slider area on individual pages but not from page types.
Anyway, thanks for your quick responses, I wish I could give you a badge for that, you have always been good about that.
